“United for Men’s Health” is the theme of the Men’s Health World Congress 2023, jointly organised by the Malaysian Society of Andrology and the Study of Ageing Males (MSASAM) and the Malaysian Clearinghouse for Men’s Health, and with the endorsement of International Society for Men’s Health. The international supporting partners include the Global Action on Men’s Health and MOVEMBER.
It is a platform for scientific discourse on Men’s Health in a broader context including epidemiology, policies, clinical advances, social determinants and delivering men’s health services, highlighting the importance of a collaborative approach in improving men’s health. The scientific papers submitted collectively aim to advance our understanding of men's health, enhance preventive measures, and promote healthy behaviours and lifestyles, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes for men globally.
Submission Categories:
- Policies, public health and epidemiology in men's health;
- Male specific clinical conditions (such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer, andrological conditions);
- Health promotion, screening, and prevention in men;
- High-risk behaviour in men (such as smoking, addiction, sexually transmitted infections);
- Mental health in men;
- Using digital technology for men’s health;
- Communication and engagement with men;
- Other men’s health related topics.

Manuscripts should be submitted online by submit system. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Original articles, case reports or comprehensive reviews are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. JOMH is an international peer-reviewed open access journal published by MRE Press. As of January 2021, JOMH will change to a monthly journal. Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript.The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is $2000. We normally offer a discount greater than 30% to all contributors invited by the Editor-in-Chief, Guest Editor (GE) and Editorial board member. Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English.
