Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Journal of Men's Health (ISSN 1875-6867) is an international, scientific, open access journal on male specific diseases and health conditions and related subjects (Fertility and Sterility, Andropause, Urology, Ultrasound in Urology and Pelvic Diseases, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Reproductive Biological Section). JOMH is indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded, Scopus, DOAJ, CrossRef and on an increasing trend. I accepted to be a Guest Editor for the Special Issue “Pelvic Surgery: Men's Particularities” of Journal of Men's Health, a valuable journal, which deadline is planned for the end of the year 2021 and I invite all of you to bring your scientific contribution.

Pelvic diseases often raise challenging diagnostic and management issues. The surgeon or the urologist is often faced with difficult decision-making situations, especially in emergency conditions. Radical cancer surgery ensures the best survival rates. Either in classical, laparoscopic or robotic surgery, the goals of surgeons are to ensure the lowest possible rate of complications using the less invasive method. Interdisciplinarity and cooperation between urologists and general surgeons proved to be essential in some diseases like neoplasy and inflammatory diseases. Men have some important anatomical and physiological particularities, the gender differences being important to surgeons. The defined scope of the topic for this special issue is to establish modern protocols in diagnosis, treatment and management of male pelvic diseases.
